Renaissance comes to Portsmouth
Renaissance is a concept of Osmundsen and gallery owner-artist Jason Michaels. The name implies an effort to join various artistic and intellectual disciplines widening the scope of artistic possibilities for the client and student.
Art Classes are planned for early Spring.
Michaels, a jeweler and sculptor will be offering a wide range of fine jewelry by commission. Osmundsen, a former member of Portraits Inc., NYC will be accepting commissions for Portrait Paintings and Sculpted Busts.
You may contact Jason to make a gallery appointment at: 603-659-5000. It is located near The Page Sports Bar.
“I’ve been heavily involved with the fine arts from a very young age. I attended the Sacramento Waldorf School where I gained a great deal of experience first hand with the creation of fine art.. I later attended Notre Dame College and studied both commercial Art and Fine Art Education. After leaving Notre Dame College in 1993, I began an apprenticeship with a master jeweler. Jewelry design and manufacturing soon became my life. I am now creating one of a kind pieces of fine art (small sculptures and fine jewelry). I am heavily inspired by the subject of Angels. Most of my work would be categorized as “clean-line contemporary”. ie. fairly modern. I approach the process of making jewelry as a sculptor. All pieces are to be signed and dated by the artist.” Jason Michaels
